Go Row Indoor
At Burton Leander, we run an indoor rowing programme through Go Row Indoor, a national initiative to get everyone rowing, whether for fun, fitness, or competition.
Why Go Row Indoor?
It’s suitable for beginners and experienced rowers alike.
Each stroke works around 85% of your muscles, giving you a full-body workout that builds cardiovascular fitness, core strength, and flexibility.
It’s low-impact, so it’s easier on joints than many other sports, a great starting point if you haven’t exercised for a while or want to cross-train.
Basic technique is quick to learn, and there’s room to grow: you can progress from total newcomer to advanced indoor rower with practice and dedication.
What we offer at Burton Leander:
8-week courses structured for beginners through to intermediate and advanced levels. Our training follows the coaching plans defined by British Rowing.
Weekly indoor sessions, currently running on Monday nights from 18:00 to 19:00.
Please sign up through the Learn2Row on British Rowing website. This is the best way you can sign up to join our course.
